End of Innocence is a short film that’s inspired by the relationship between loving someone, the desire of building a life together and the violent letting go of childhood. It’s structured as a video clip to take advantage of the music I composed inspired by these ideas. I remember a phrase from Demian by Hermann Hesse:
“The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. That God’s name is Abraxas.”
